Clevedon Pier is a traditional Victorian Pier therefore there is no lift or step free access from the pier walkway to Waverley, please note there may be up to 66 steps to reach the gangway depending on the height of tide. Wheelchairs cannot be carried down the stairs. Those with limited mobility should be aware of the need to use stairs. Bikes must be pushed along the pier and carried down the stairs to the gangway. Dogs can board on selected short sailings; dog owners should consider their pet’s suitability to travelling down the stairs to the ship. Limited on street parking in areas behind the sea front. Public Transport: Regular buses from Bristol served by Service X6 which calls at the sea front at Elton Road, 5 mins walk from the pier. Service runs every day. Service A2 connects Clevedon, Portishead, Nailsea and Backwell Station and Bristol Airport. Local services X5, X10 and X11 connect Clevedon with Portishead, Yatton and Weston-super-Mare but just serve Clevedon town centre.
Car Park: Hawthorns, Elton Rd, BS21 7RG. There is some free on street parking in areas behind the sea front.
All passengers joining Waverley at Clevedon are requested to arrive at the pier entrance gate at least 30 minutes before the advertised departure time to ensure sufficient time to walk down the pier.
