Waverley offers an exciting and ambitious sailing programme of day, afternoon and evening cruises from over 70 ports and piers in several areas of the UK including:

  • Bristol Channel & South West Wales
  • South West, South Coast & Isle of Wight

WAVERLEY’S 2027 SAILINGS

In 2027 we look forward to marking the 80th Anniversary of Waverley’s maiden voyage. Details for the 2027 sailings will be issued via our e-newsletters so make sure you are signed up to receive these. Waverley’s first public sailing of 2027 will be on Friday 7th May.

Unless stated as “One-Way” all trips on Waverley are sold as Return journeys.

We recommend booking your preferred cruise in advance to be sure of your tickets, particularly for special events and weekend sailings. Tickets can be purchased on board subject to available space.

2027 Advanced Information for Oban & Inner Hebrides Sailings 

Waverley’s first public sailing of 2027 takes place on Friday 7th May with her operating from Glasgow and on the Clyde Coast until Sunday 9th May. Waverley will steam all the way from Glasgow to Oban on Tuesday 11th May.

Wednesday 12th May will see her sail from Oban to Kyle of Lochalsh with the ship berthing overnight at Kyle on 12th and 13th May. A coach connection will be provided for supporters from Kyle of Lochalsh to Oban on the evening of Friday 14th May.

Waverley will then operate from Oban from Saturday 15th May until Tuesday 18th May. Supporters wishing to sail on Waverley throughout her 2027 visit to the Inner Hebrides may wish to plan accommodation in Oban on the evening of Tuesday 11th and from Friday 14th to Tuesday 18th May, and in Kyle of Lochalsh on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th May.

We are working to release an outline of the 2027 sailing programme before Christmas with full timetables being released from February. Bookings will then open area-by-area as timetables are published. 2027 will mark the 50th Anniversary of Waverley’s first visit to Liverpool and the Mersey, and the 80th Anniversary of Waverley’s maiden voyage.
