Monday October 6

Following a repair to Waverley’s port paddlebox the ship is currently berthed in Chatham Dock. While Waverley is fully operational the first available time for her to leave the tidal dock will be on the late AM tide, the same tide required to sail from Whitstable.

On leaving Chatham lock Waverley will proceed upriver to Rochester and berth at Limehouse Landing. She will then depart at 12:45pm for a cruise down the River Medway and up the River Thames to pass under Tower Bridge Twice, returning to Gravesend at the slightly revised time of 2015.

For those passengers due to join at Whitstable coaches will depart Whitstable at 11:15am from the bus stop on Harbour Street directly opposite the Gorrell Tank Car Park to bring all pre-booked passengers directly to Rochester to join Waverley. Unfortunately Waverley’s call at Southend has been cancelled due to the need to re-time the cruise.

A coach connection will operate from Margate (1045) direct to Rochester – Coach pick up is from Rendezvous, adjacent to the Harbour Arm, CT9 1DD.
