During our daily inspections of Waverley’s paddle wheels on Monday 7th October we found a small defect which needs to be rectified. The ship is currently berthed at Gravesend where the repair is now underway.
Unfortunately, it will take a little time to complete the repair and fully test the paddles. We have therefore had to cancel Waverley’s sailing from Southwold and Clacton on Wednesday 9th October.
We are very sorry to cancel the sailing and the inconvenience this will cause our passengers.
All pre-booked passengers will be contacted and offered a refund or can transfer tickets to a future sailing at no extra cost.
Waverley will return to service on Friday 11th October.
