WAVERLEY’S FIRST EVER MEETING WITH PS KINGSWEAR CASTLE ON THE DART

Waverley will sail from Plymouth Barbican Landing Stage (1145) to cruise Prawle and Start Points, Berry Head & Tor Bay before steaming into the River Dart to meet Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle. Waverley will sail up the River Dart before turning to berth at Dartmouth Town Pontoon.

A coach connection will operate from Dartmouth (opposite Coronation Park just south of the Higher Ferry Crossing) at 10am to connect with Waverley’s sailing from Plymouth. This coach connection is now fully booked.

 

EVENING CRUISE

Waverley will sail from Dartmouth Town Pontoon (1830) for a cruise to Start Point returning to Dartmouth to view the Royal Regatta Fireworks which take place at 9pm.

Evening cruise passengers may wish to take the Dartmouth Steam Railway from Paignton (1225, 1410, 1525, 1640) to Kingswear and the connecting ferry to Dartmouth. An evening return train operates from Kingswear at 10pm to return to Paignton. Tickets for the railway and connecting ferry can be purchased from dartmouthrailriver.co.uk or by calling 01803 555872.
