Oban & Inner Hebrides 2026 Timetable Published

Waverley returns to service on Friday 8th May and operates until mid-October for what will be her longest operational season in well over a decade.

Bookings are now open for Clyde Spring sailings, Oban & the Inner Hebrides, and Warrenpoint sailings. Waverley’s Oban and Inner Hebrides sailings are always eagerly anticipated by supporters and 2026’s cruises offer a great variety of trips amidst some of the most stunning coastal landscape seen from Waverley’s decks. 

Waverley’s highland adventure kicks off on Tuesday 12th May as she sails all the way from Glasgow to Oban with calls at Greenock, Campbeltown and Crinan along the way.

Wednesday 13th May sees Waverley head further north with a visit to Skye and the remote village of Inverie before offering a stunning evening cruise from Kyle of Lochalsh.

This year will see Waverley operate the FIRST EVER day excursion Round Skye by a paddle Steamer on Thursday 14th May. To celebrate this remarkable cruise the first 100 Adult or Senior tickets sold will be on sale at HALF PRICE.

The popular excursion from Gairloch to Loch Torridon and Upper Loch Torridon returns on Friday 15th May while Waverley will cruise through the Sound of Mull and round Staffa on Saturday 16th May.

On the afternoon of Sunday 17th May Waverley will cruise from Oban and Craignure to Crinan before steaming through the famous Corryvreckan Whirlpool. That same evening she will offer a stunning cruise up Loch Linnhe and through the Corran Narrows to anchor off Fort William.

Monday 18th May sees a unique sailing from Fort William and Oban to Iona as we mark the Centenary of the popular Oban excursion steamer King George V. A trip not to be missed!

The Oban and Inner Hebrides sailings come to a close on Tuesday 19th May with a sailing from Oban to Salen, Tobermory and round Eigg. On this sailing Seniors from Oban can bring a Friend FREE.
