Given the most recent shipping forecast for Tuesday 12th May with Force 5-7 winds and sea conditions in the exposed area beyond the Mull of Kintyre predicted to be rough this sailing has unfortunately been cancelled in the interest of safety and passenger comfort.
Waverley will depart Glasgow later this afternoon (11/05) with just her crew and make the passage to Oban overnight to ensure she is in position to sail from Wednesday as planned.
We do sincerely apologise for cancelling this cruise but given the exposed route from Campbeltown round the Mull of Kintyre and the predicted sea conditions this cancellation is necessary.
Coaches will operate from Glasgow Science Centre at 5pm on Tuesday 12th May to convey those passengers who wish to travel to Oban.
Passengers with advance bookings will be contacted to transfer their booking or apply for a refund.
