Preparations are under way for Waverley moving to dry dock for her annual out-of-the water survey and hull maintenance. This docking will also allow for the bow to be repaired.

Over the past week final maintenance work has been undertaken on the main engine with further testing of steam equipment. Earlier today Waverley’s steam whistle could be heard!

Our Covid-19 Relief Appeal has now reached £325,000 which has allowed us to commit to dry docking Waverley. We will incur further costs after dry dock to fully prepare Waverley for service. Further donations would be very welcome to help reach the £350,000 target for the appeal.
