A brand new broadcast-quality documentary film looking at the huge achievements of the PSPS over the decades and the challenges faced along the way. It features superb archive footage from the PSPS Archive, original interviews with people who helped shape Britain’s maritime history and contemporary views of Britain’s key surviving paddle steamers, each historically important in their own right: Waverley, Kingswear Castle, Medway Queen and Maid of the Loch.

The programme is written and produced by award-winning documentary film-maker David Ellery.
