Over the past two days we have been working to repair a fault on Waverley’s forward steam winch. Unfortunately, the required repair work is time consuming and has resulted in a part of the winch being shipped several hundred miles to a specialist workshop. The repair procedure will take at least three days and therefore Waverley’s sailing on Monday 29th July has now been cancelled. We are working to have her back in service on Tuesday 30th July.
We apologise that Waverley is unable to operate as planned as this will cause disappointment and inconvenience to our customers and loyal supporters.
Those customers with pre-bookings have been contacted.
