Waverley’s sailing today has been amended given the current weather & river conditions in Ayr Harbour with the strength and direction of wind.

Waverley attempted to berth at Largs at 1315 but wind conditions were far too strong to safely berth. Waverley will now sail from Greenock at 1450 for a cruise through the Kyles of Bute returning to Greenock at 1850. Coach connections will be provided for Ayr passengers.

Given that the wind speed in Ayr has been gusting to 44mph Waverley will not be able to return to Ayr this evening but will sail from Ayr on Tuesday at planned.

We do apologise for amending the timetable today and being unable to include Brodick. Given advice from Ayr Harbour and the wind conditions we have amended the sailing in the interest of safety.
