Due to strong winds on Sunday and into Monday gusting at over 30 knots and the subsequent sea conditions, Waverley’s sailing on Monday 26th May has been amended. The steamer will no longer sail out to Tiree but will instead offer a cruise in sheltered waters.
Waverley will sail from Oban North Pier (1000) and Tobermory (1200) for a cruise down the Sound of Mull to Salen Bay (Mull), she will then cruise the sheltered waters of Loch Sunart to Salen (Ardnamurchan) returning to Tobermory at 4:30pm. Those from Glasgow, Stirling and Oban can then enjoy around 1 hr 45mins ashore in Tobermory before Waverley returns to Oban at the scheduled time of 8:15pm.
A coach connection to join the steamer at Oban will depart from Stirling Railway Station and Glasgow (Killermont Street outside Buchanan Bus Station opposite John Lewis) at 0700. These coach connections must be booked in advance.
Tickets for this sailing are available and can be booked online or on board the steamer when you sail.
