Waverley will sail from Whitstable (1355) past Red Sands Fort and up the River Thames and under Tower Bridge to London Tower Pier.

Waverley sailed from her anchorage in the Thames Estuary towards Folkestone this morning, but unfortunately sea conditions have proven to be beyond acceptable for passenger comfort. We have therefore taken the decision to cancel this morning’s planned cruise from Folkestone. All Folkestone passengers are being contacted.

We are deeply disappointed to have to cancel Waverley’s first visit to Folkestone in several decades, but this decision has been made in the interest of passenger comfort and safety. Folkestone passengers are welcome to join Waverley at Whitstable for the cruise up the River Thames & under Tower Bridge to London with the option of coach return to Whitstable or Folkestone from London.
