THURSDAY September 8

Unfortunately the calls at Yarmouth and Swanage have been cancelled due to strong winds. The resulting moderate to rough sea conditions make it unsuitable to leave the Solent.

Winds are predicted to gust to over 30 knots during the afternoon in the sea area between the Isle of Wight and Swanage. Therefore Waverley will remain in sheltered waters and will not be able to offer the afternoon cruise along the Dorset coast. The alteration to today’s sailing has been made in the interest of passenger safety and comfort.

Passengers boarding from Worthing and sailing from Portsmouth will be offered an alternative cruise in sheltered waters.

We do sincerely apologise for making this later alteration to the sailing and any disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.

Passengers booked from Swanage will be contacted.
