Waverley returns to Oban and Skye after a 4 year absence

Waverley arrived in Oban on the evening of Monday June 6 to a warm welcome with local piper Jamie MacGregor providing traditional music as the 350 plus passengers disembarked after their unique cruise from the Firth of Clyde and round the Mull of Kintyre to Oban.

Waverley remained berthed at Oban’s North Pier overnight before heading for Skye on Tuesday June 7 where she offered a cruise from Armadale through the Kyle Rhea Narrows to Kyle of Lochalsh. With time in hand passengers were given an extra treat by sailing under the Skye Bridge.

Over the coming days Waverley will offer a variety of cruises with highlights including a cruise to Staffin Island on June 8, cruising Loch Torridon and Loch Shieldaig on June 9, a trip round Staffa on June 11 and the ever popular sailing to the Corryvreckan Whirlpool on June 12 before she heads back to her home waters to celebrate the 75th Anniversary since her maiden voyage.
