Waverley to Visit Fishguard & Holyhead this Season

To the surprise of many it has been announced that Waverley is extending her Welsh calling points this season with Fishguard being included for the first time since the early 90s with a unique cruise from the port on Thursday 30th May. Tickets for the cruise along the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion Coasts to New Quay from Fishguard are in high demand and this ‘one-off’ cruise is expected to be fully booked within the next few days. Advanced booking is strongly recommended.

Then on completion of the Bristol Channel sailings Waverley will head to North Wales with another unique sailing from Holyhead on Monday 24th June to Llandudno. In a change on the Mersey the ship will use Seacombe Landing Stage as her base rather than Liverpool. Mersey Ferries have been very helpful in permitting Waverley to berth at their Wirral base.

Waverley’s Bristol Channel timetable will be the next section of the 2024 programme to be released. The Bristol Channel sailings will operate from Friday 31st May through to Sunday 23rd June with all ports / piers included in the 2023 programme being included this year in addition to one port which hasn’t seen Waverley for 40 years. Make sure you are signed up to receive our e-newsletters announcing the area-by-area timetables as they are released.
