Waverley’s 2023 Bristol Channel Timetable Published

We are delighted and excited to publish Waverley’s Bristol Channel 2023 Timetable which will operate from Friday June 2 until Sunday June 18.

This year’s timetable contains the greatest variety of cruises and calling points Waverley has offered in ten years. Don’t miss your chance to step aboard the World’s last seagoing paddle steamer and enjoy a nostalgic trip to Ilfracombe, sail out to explore Lundy Island, take a steam or heritage diesel trip on the West Somerset Railway, cruise under the Severn Bridges, steam round the Holm Islands, sail round Skokholm & Skomer or along the stunning North Devon Coast – there simply is no other way to view so much of the Bristol Channel than from the decks of Paddle Steamer Waverley!

Waverley will be departing from Penarth, Clevedon, Portishead (first cruise in over 20 years), Weston, Porthcawl, Swansea, Minehead, Ilfracombe, Lundy Island, Tenby (first in over 30 years) and Milford Haven. We will also be offering coach connections from Newport (to join Waverley at Penarth), Bristol & Chepstow (to join Waverley at Clevedon) to ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to experience Waverley and help support her continued operation.

Passengers from Penarth, Clevedon and Porthcawl have the option of combining a cruise on Waverley with a trip on either the West Somerset Railway or the Lynton & Barnstable Railway.
To celebrate “Year of the Pier” and to support Clevedon Pier we will be offering an Evening Fundraising Cruise with proceeds going towards Clevedon Pier. Don’t miss the option of joining a special Fizz & Chips Reception on the pier prior to joining Waverley for an evening cruise round the Holm Islands on Sunday June 11 – tickets for this sailing and reception can now be booked online at https://waverleyexcursions.co.uk/book/

We are currently preparing our booking system for all other Bristol Channel sailings and tickets for the full programme will be on sale from Friday April 21.
